CMAT, born Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson in Dublin, is an Irish singer/songwriter and musician.
Her debut studio album If My Wife Knew I'd Be Dead was released in February 2022 and topped the Official Irish Albums Chart in her native Ireland. Follow-up Crazymad For Me, released in October 2023, saw CMAT cross the Channel and earn herself a first placing on the UK Official Albums Chart at Number 25, before being announced as a nominee in the BBC Sound Of 2024 list.
