INHALER

Inhaler are an Irish rock band from Dublin consisting of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Elijah Hewson (born 17 August 1999 and son of U2 singer Bono), bassist and backing vocalist Robert Keating (born 19 April 2000), lead guitarist Josh Jenkinson (born 8 October 1999), and drummer Ryan McMahon (born 28 August 1999).

Hewson, Keating and McMahon formed Inhaler in 2012 at St Andrews College, with Jenkinson joining in 2015. Inhaler placed fifth in BBC's Sound of 2020 competition. On July 9 2021, Inhaler released their debut album It Won't Always Be Like This which topped the Official Irish Albums Chart in their native Ireland and went to Number 1 on the UK's Official Albums Chart. In doing so, Inhaler were the first Irish group in 13 years since The Script in 2008 to claim a UK Number 1 with their debut album.

On release, It Won't Always Be Like This became the fastest-selling debut album of the century on vinyl.
