Wiz Khalifa holds Taylor Swift off US Billboard singles Number 1

Plus: David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd and Fifth Harmony climb the chart.

Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again FT Charlie Puth tops this week’s Billboard Hot 100, blocking Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood FT Kendrick Lamar (Number 2) from the Number 1 spot once again.

This week marks See You Again’s 10th week atop the chart, with the track racking up 16.6 million US streams and 118,000 downloads. The Fast and Furious 7 tribute song is only the 30th Number 1 in history to hold the title for 10 weeks, and just the seventh rap track to do so.

Only three rap tracks have spent more than 10 weeks at Number 1; Black Eyed Peas’ Boom Boom Pow (12 weeks at Number 1), Eminem’s Lose Yourself (12 weeks) and Puff Daddy and Faith Hill’s I’ll Be Missing You FT 112 (11 weeks).

While Taylor Swift misses out on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 Number 1 spot, Bad Blood earns the title of the quickest ascension to Number 1 on the Pop Songs airplay chart in over 10 years, and continues to top the Digital Songs chart for a fifth week.

Elsewhere in the Top 5, Fetty Wap’s Trap Queen holds firm at Number 3, followed by OMI’s Cheerleader (up three places to 4), and Walk The Moon’s Shut Up And Dance (down one place to 5).

Tracks ascending the Billboard Hot 100 this week include David Guetta’s Hey Mama FT Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha and Afrojack (up one place to 8), Andy Grammer’s Honey I’m Good (up one place to 9) and The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face (up 12 places to 12).

Rachel Platten’s Fight Song climbs 6 places to 13 this week, while Fifth Harmony’s Worth It FT Kid Ink is up one place to 14.
