This week finally sees the release of the album much of the world has been waiting for: Adele’s 25. The record has a big job on its hands, following the monumental success of her previous collection 21, which topped the charts across the globe and, among so many chart records it set, is the biggest selling album by a British female artist ever.

Other big albums out this week include Enya’s first album in seven years, called Dark Sky Island, and the latest Now compilation, Now That’s What I Call Music! 92. Click here to see the full tracklisting.

There are also a string of album re-packs out this week, including Olly Murs’ Never Been Better, Meghan Trainor’s Title, Will Young’s 85% Proof and Take That’s III; while Maroon 5 also release their Singles collection.

On the singles front, this week sees the return of David Bowie, who releases Blackstar. The song features on Sky Atlantic drama The Last Panthers and serves as the title track from his upcoming album of the same name, which follows on January 8 2016.

Elsewhere, Nathan Sykes is back with his second solo single Over And Over Again, and Carly Rae Jepsen releases a cover of Wham!'s Last Christmas.

Big DVD/Blu-rays released next week (November 23) include Disney Pixar’s Inside Out, comedy Ted 2, and extended editions of the The Hobbit films.
