The Official Top 10 most-streamed jazz songs of all time on the Official Charts

The list was revealed by Jamie Cullum on BBC Radio 2.

For the first time ever, the Official Top 10 most-streamed jazz tracks in UK chart history have been revealed.

The list was unveiled by Jamie Cullum on BBC Radio 2, as part of the month-long BBC Radio 2 Celebrates Jazz, with a specially-curated selection of documentaries and retrospectives also now available.

Using data from The Official Charts Company, we can reveal that Nina Simone's Feeling Good is officially the most-streamed jazz track in UK chart history.

Originally written by English composers Anthony Newley and Lesley Bricusse, the iconic track was first covered by Simone for her 1965 album I Put A Spell On You, although it wasn't released as a single at the time. Instead, a took a sync in an advert for Volkswagen in 1994 for it to be officially released, peaking at Number 40 on the Official Singles Chart. Simone died in 2003, aged 70.

Given how free-flowing and nebulous jazz is as a genre, it's no surprise then that Feeling Good makes more than one appearance in the all-time Top 10. A bombastic, big band cover by Canadian crooner Michael Bublé hits Number 3, although his take never officially reached the Top 40.

Coming in at second place is the original King of Pop, Frank Sinatra with his swooning hit, Fly Me To The Moon. Sinatra is actually the artist to be most featured in the Top 10, with three overall entries for Fly Me To The Moon (2), That's Life (4) and Come Fly With Me (7).

Other more recent entries also include, of course, the sorely missed British icon Amy Winehouse. Me & Mr Jones, a sour lament from the all-time classic Back To Black LP, lands in at Number 5, US singer Gregory Porter has the most modern entry in the Top 10 thanks to 2013 single Liquid Spirit (6) and finally, early-00s star Norah Jones's Sunrise completes the Top 10 in full (10).
