Official Charts definitive books series released on e-book

The series, which spans the Official Charts from the 1950s to 2010s, is now available on 12 individual e-books.

A new series of Official Chart e-books is unveiled this week.

Following briskly on the heels of the 21-volume series of Official Charts Hits and Charts books, Official Charts has responded to consumer demand by issuing the chart collections as 12 individual e-books.

Included in the series are a single, combined volume of singles and albums charts for each of the Fifties and Sixties, together with individual editions for the Official Singles Charts and the Official Albums Charts from the Seventies up to the Tens. The books, showcasing more than almost 7,000 charts, are all edited by chart archivist Graham Betts.

Sold via Amazon's Kindle store, the books can be viewed via Kindle devices or the Kindle apps for Android and Apple mobile and tablets. The full list of titles is as follows:

Official Charts Company chief executive Martin Talbot says, "These books are the logical next step of our chart publishing project and are a direct response to requests from readers of our print-on-demand paper books to create a series in e-book format.

"The aim of this latest release is to make the charts available in the widest range of formats possible, to appeal to the widest range of chart fans.”

The OCC does not respond at all to the myriad of errors that I have highlighted to them in these books......A LOT of errors....surely there must be someone allocated to respond to their customers who are trying to help
