Official Chart Picker: Ward Thomas score biggest country album, Yak top Official Record Store Chart

We take a closer look at some of this week's other Official Charts.

Ward Thomas land at Number 1 on this week's Official Country Album Chart with their latest collection Restless Minds.

The sibling duo's third album claims the top spot on the UK's country Top 20, finishing ahead of Kacey Musgraves' Golden Hour, which finishes at Number 2 this week after winning the coveted Album of the Year prize at last week's Grammy Awards. Ward Thomas, made up of twin sisters Lizzy and Catherine, recorded their third album in Nashville, London and in their hometown of Hampshire, teaming up with previous collaborators Jessica Sharman, Rebekah Powell and Martin Terefe plus in a host of pop hitmakers including Ed Drewett (Little Mix), Rachel Furner (Craig David), and Steve Robson (Paloma Faith). Meanwhile, English alt-rock trio Yak top this week's Official Record Store Chart - the weekly Top 40 based on sales of albums from Independent music shops across the UK. The Wolverhampton trio's second album Pursuit of Momentary Happiness charts the rocky and occasionally destructive but ultimately creative journey of the record's creation. Elsewhere, Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack leads the way on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart following its release on black plastic, while the Top 10 also includes three reissued Prince albums - Musicology, 3121 and Planet Earth. On the vinyl singles chart, Fonaines DC are new at Number 1 with Too Real; the Dublin band's fourth single is their first on their new home at Partisan Records.

Finally, as Ariana Grande takes the top spot on this week's Official Albums Chart, the star also claims the week's bestselling album on cassette with the collection, notching up 540 sales.
