Celeste has written an original song for this year's John Lewis Christmas advert titled A Little Love.
This year's advert features characters passing on kind gestures to help friends, family and strangers in small and big ways: from fixing a tyre, to helping dislodge a football from a tree branch, to reaching out to a lonely neighbour spending the holidays alone.
Bucking the trend of having artists cover classic tracks for their anticipated annual ad, this year BRITs Rising Star winner Celeste was enlisted to pen a track especially for the mini film - launched on National Kindness Day - relaying the message of giving a little love and kindness to others at the end of a difficult year.
The company are hoping to raise £4m for their charities this year, plus £1m for local charities, and are aiming to help 100,000 families with charity partners FareShare and Home-Start - who which will use the funds to provide food, comfort, emotional support and advice to families who need support this festive season. 2019's John Lewis Christmas advert saw Bastille's Dan Smith perform a cover of REO Speedwagon's Can't Fight This Feeling, while other previous artists include Lily Allen's chart-topping cover of Keane's Somewhere Only We Know, and Gabrielle Aplin's haunting take on The Power Of Love, a Number 1 hit in 2012.
Last year a Twitter user issued an inquiry to find out what users' John Lewis Christmas advert soundtrack would be - find out here which artist is singing a cover of a classic for your own personal ad.
