Jennifer Lopez previews new single Ain't Your Mama - listen

Jennifer Lopez has announced details of her new single, called Ain't Your Mama. 

The singer and actress will unveil the track live on American Idol this Thursday (April 7) and make it available to stream/download immediately after. 

During a Facebook fan chat, J Lo said she was planning a "very high energy" performance for the song, before playing a preview of it. Watch the full video here. 

The star's new single arrives shortly after her signing with her former label Epic Records, and follows her eighth album A.K.A, which was released in 2014. Check out Jennifer Lopez's full UK chart history, including three Number 1 singles.

As well as releasing new music and judging on the final series of American Idol, Jennifer has a residency in Las Vegas called All I Have. Her next run of shows in the city take place across May to August.
