The Girls Aloud Show tour setlist: deep cuts and songs they're 'dead against'

The girls reveal which tracks might make the cut at their reunion shows
Girls Aloud Show

With just over a month to go until Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Cheryl Tweedy kick off The Girls Aloud Show tour in Dublin, talk within the fandom's turned to fantasy show setlists.

With a back catalogue boasting 21 Top 10 singles (we love you too, Untouchable) and five studio albums brimming with brilliantly-bonkers pop, Girls Aloud face the near-impossible task of narrowing down their discography into a brand-new show.

Now, it's safe to say we can expect classics like The Promise, Love Machine and Call The Shots to make the cut, but do the girls have any surprises in store?

Speaking to Scott Mills on BBC Radio 2 show today, the band teased tracks that could potentially be performed; and those they're 'dead against.'

When asked if fans can expect any covers on the tour, Cheryl responded: "Do you know what? I've said that! I've said it several times, people like it!"

Nadine isn't too keen, though.

"I was dead against it," she said. "I'm like, we've got so many songs of Girls Aloud as our own, why do we need to?"

Speaking a lot of sense, Nicola suggested some of the group's deep cuts: "Would you not prefer us to do Girl Overboard or Miss You Bow Wow?"

"And Graffiti My Soul!", chips in Nadine.

"Guys, I think we should do [it] all!", Cheryl joked.

We'd very much be here for a Taylor Swift The Eras Tour-esque three-hour show please, girls.

And if anyone from management's reading, we'll have Memory Of You, Swinging London Town and On The Metro again. Ta.

Revealing whether or not every Girls Aloud single's made the setlist, Nadine confirmed: "We've subtracted some. I Think We're Alone Now [isn't on it]."

Nicola added: "There's one or two not in there, but none of the high tempo ones."

"Nothing that anyone's going to miss, we're very confident about that decision," joked Kimberley.

On the spectacle of the show, Nicola teased: "This is our biggest set yet, and it is very special. There's a really super special area called the Gift Wrapped Kitty Cat area, where the fans are sort of inside the show almost because of how the stage is set. And it's super special."

Cheryl added: "It's the first time we’ve done anything like that actually so it will be nice because we can really, whoever's in the Gift Wrapped Kitty Cat zone it’s phenomenal, we can really communicate with them, like, close."
