Christina Aguilera has revealed that she is working on two new albums - an English language record and a Spanish one.

In an interview with Health Magazine, Christina kept it vague on when fans can expect the albums, but said the process has reignited her love for music.

"I'm months away from anything being announced," she said. "I'm simultaneously working on my English record and the follow-up to my debut Spanish album - about 20 years overdue.

"I'm a perfectionist and want to give everything my best—especially because of the soul-searching I've done over the past year and the new perspective I have.

"I am reinspired and have reconnected with myself. I've fallen in love with music all over again, which is a really big thing to say, having spent my entire career in music."

Christina is known for taking her time between albums. Her last, 2018's Liberation, arrived after a six-year gap. As she metioned, a follow-up to her 2000 Spanish language album Mi Reflejo has been 20 years in the making.

The star's biggest album to date in the UK is 2002's Stripped, with 2.05 million chart sales, according to Official Charts Company. View Christina's Official UK Chart history in full here.

Last year Christina released a new version of her 1998 breakout hit Reflection for Disney's live action remake of Mulan.
