Arctic Monkeys announce new album Tranquillity Base Hotel and Casino

Arctic Monkeys have announced details of their eagerly awaited new album, called Tranquillity Base Hotel & Casino.

The band's sixth studio album will be released on May 11 and includes 11 tracks. As well as all the standard formats, the record will be released on silver-coloured and clear vinyl, which includes a 16 page expanded booklet.

The Arctic Monkeys will be supporting the album with 30-plus tour dates at music festivals across the world this summer. Check out the latest list here, including a nine date arena tour of the UK & Ireland.

Tranquillity Base Hotel & Casino follows 2013's AM, which debuted at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart, has sold just over one million and still regularly features in the weekly Official Vinyl Albums Chart Top 40.
