Adele’s Easy On Me keeps Official Irish Singles Chart top spot as abcdefu by Gayle climbs into Top 3

Adele’s Easy On Me glides into a sixth week at Number 1 on the Official Irish Singles Chart, but a rising star is chasing at her heels.

Nashville singer-songwriter Gayle, who is climbing charts across the world with abcdefu, lifts four places to Number 3 this week, leapfrogging two more Adele tracks in this week’s Top 10 – Oh My God at 4 and I Drink Wine at 6.

Elsewhere in the Top 10, Where Are You Now by Lost Frequencies and Calum Scott climbs two places to a new peak at 8, and dance favourite Do It To It by Acraze ft. Cherish hops one spot to 10.

Further down, there are two notable climbers this week: Coming For You by London rappers SwitchOTR ft. A1 & J1 leaps nine places to 22, and Imagine Dragons’ & JID’s Enemy – recorded for TV series Arcane League Of Legends - lifts 15 places to 30.

Christmas songs dominate the rest of this week’s chart, with a total of 12 festive tunes in the Top 50. Leading the way is Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You at 11, followed by Wham’s Last Christmas at 13, and Fairytale Of New York by The Pogues ft. Kirsty MacColl at 17.
