ABBA share heartfelt Christmas themed video for new single Little Things

No ABBA (or ABBAtars) in sight, however.

ABBA have released the music video for their new single Little Things.

The track will function as the third single from their comeback album Voyage, following the double A-side release of I Still Have Faith In You and Don't Shut Me Down.

Little Things will become available in a limited edition special CD today (December 3) and the band will be releasing a new music video to mark the occasion.

Although ABBA themselves don't make an appearance beyond brief cameos from Bjorn Ulvaeus and their digital ABBAtar selves, the music video follows a group of Swedish children as they dress up as ABBA and perform a concert for Christmas.

MORE: ABBA's Official Charts history in full

Little Things single release comes after Voyage - ABBA's first album in 40 years - debuted straight at the top of the Official Albums Chart, at the time becoming the fastest-selling album of 2021 (before being overtaken two weeks later by Adele).

Given the song's festive themes - all about bringing the whole family together for the most wonderful time of the year - it's natural to assume that ABBA could be in contention to claim this year's coveted Christmas Number 1.

They do have some competition, however. Most recently, Ed Sheeran and Elton John officially announced their joint Christmas single Merry Christmas, after weeks of teasing. Check out our rolling, updating list of every contender for the year's most important Number 1 here.

Great Christmas song, not sure about the video, shame Abba don't actually appear as they are now, would have been good to see them in the audience watching the children perform. Hope to see this song hit the top end of the charts. Just watched Ed and Elton Merry Christmas, will be number one .

It's the fourth single from the album, not the third - 'Just A Notion' was released 2 weeks before the album came out.
