Official Independent Album Breakers Chart on 22/5/2020

YIPPEE....Keiino entered the Norwegian album chart at number 30..Did expect it to make it to the Top 10 but after all, only their first single made it to the single chart so i guess we have to be happy they still made it to their Top 40 album chart...BTW, there is NO physical release of their album OKTA??!! TBH Ronald, i only purchase CDs...i like to "own" physically an album not downloading it or streaming it....Have a great Sunday and chat to you soon.Be safe and take care my friend...

I'm fine, quarantaine is getting a bit less strict. Schools are re-opening, finally! Not completely though, 30%-50%, but it's a start! Hope you are safe and sane too!

Bit surprised OKTA only charted at #30 in Norway and that non of the singles after SPIRIT IN THE SKY charted in Norway. KEIINO released quite a few really good ones!

they just released their new single I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY...cover from Whitney...very good tune!!
did you check as well their video for BLACK LEATHER? very steamy!!
DANCING WITH SMOKE video is so so good!! love that song..after SPIRIT IN THE SKY, it is my favorite...not fond yet of WOULD I LIE? but might grow on me after a few more times listening to it..

I'm fine, hope you are too!
Lockdown over here is getting less and less strict.
Normal life is starting to return slowly.
The expectation is that schools will reopen as usual in September.
Back to my normal job!
With complete classes instead of half full classes!!!
Still a lot of work at school, will stay the same till July 22 or so.
After that: 5 weeks off, not going on holiday, staying at home and enjoying the occasional day trip.

Yes, I ordered OKTA and really enjoy listening to the album.
I had hoped for a booklet with lyrics and liner notes.
But... no....

I really do like the BLACK LEATHER and DANCING WITH SMOKE songs and videos but just like you I have to say that SPIRIT IN THE SKY is my favourite!

I do not understand why SHADOWS is not included on OKTA. Really like that one too. But all by all it is a very nice album indeed.

I read about I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY yesterday or so. I like their version and it is great that it is chosen as the official Pride song but I also expected it to be a bit more uptempa / dancy. But it is a good cover!

Not much new music at the moment... only the new ERASURE single and the new KATE RYAN single made my heart beat a bit faster. KATE RYAN covered yet another song: HOLIDAY.

Do you remember the Belgian entries for ESC from a couple of years ago: LOIC NOTTET - BLANCHE. They both have released new music. The latest three singles by BLANCHE are really really good (EMPIRE / FENCES / 1,2 MISS YOU) and so is the latest single by LOIC NOTTET: HEARTBREAKER. A very, VERY good single!
