Wonder Woman has her sights set on the Official Video Chart Number 1

We're in for a wonderful Number 1 on the Official Video Chart as Wonder Woman is dominating the competition this week.

Starring Gal Gadot, the superhero movie's DVD and Blu-ray released on Monday is currently outselling the Top 10 combined on the UK's Official Video Chart, as of today's midweek Update rounding up sales from the last 72 hours.

123,000 units have been shifted by the halfway point, with Wonder Woman all but certain to claim the Number 1 spot on Sunday's final chart, published at 7pm on OfficialCharts.com.

Last week's Number 1 Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge slips to two today, while Disney titles Beauty and the Beast (2017) and Moana are both set to drop one spot each to Numbers 3 and 4 respectively. Blade Runner rises three places to a midweek slot of Number 5.

New entries and high climbers

In a quiet week for new releases, Grimm: Season Six begins at Number 8, while Cage Dive, a film based on an extreme shark-related reality show could snap up a Top 3 entry at 29. Doctor Foster: Series Two could also sneak into the Top 40 at Number 36.

Finally, in the run-up to Halloween, spooky classic Hocus Pocus starring Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker rises 18 places to Number 31.
