The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel set for second week at Number 1

Plus new releases including Focus, Still Alice and Chappie.

The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel looks set to remain at the summit of this Sunday’s new Official Video Chart, based on today’s midweek update.

The 20^th Century Fox title first topped the chart last week and, if it maintains its momentum, will match the two weeks that its predecessor The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel spent at Number 1 back in 2012.

This week’s highest new entry is US comedy-drama Focus – starring Will Smith and Margot Robbie – which lands in the update at Number 3 today.

Curzon Film World’s Still Alice (5) and Sony Pictures’ Chappie both also enter today’s Top 10 (based on sales Sunday – Wednesday).

While the Official Singles and Albums charts are moving to Friday from this week (starting tomorrow, July 10), the video industry’s Official Charts will continue to be unveiled every Sunday – from the overall Official Video Chart, DVD Chart, Blu-Ray Chart and various genre charts, from children’s releases and special interest, through to TV, movies and music video.
