Second week at Number 1 on the Official Irish Singles Chart for Ariana Grande’s thank u, next

XXXTentacion, Cheryl and Imagine Dragons are new Top 50 entries this week.

Ariana Grande is Number 1 in Ireland for a second week with thank u, next.

An ode to her exes, the personal song has a lead of over 2,000 combined chart sales to secure the Official Irish Singles Chart top spot for another seven days.

Halsey’s Without Me was also popular with the Irish public this week, lifting four places to Number 5, her first Top 5 appearance as a lead artist.

New entries and high climbers

Eight tracks in this week’s Top 10 feature female artists, with two leading ladies entering the top flight for the first time. Sweet But Psycho by Ava Max rockets eight places to Number 8, while Billie Eilish climbs seven rungs to Number 10 with When The Party’s Over.

Freya Ridings’ Lost Without You breaks into the Top 20 for the first time at Number 16, ahead of Bad, this week’s highest new entry from XXXTentacion (23). The biggest climber of the week, Polaroid by Jonas Blue, Liam Payne and Lennon Stella is not far behind, up 11 to Number 25.

Cheryl collects her tenth Irish Top 50 appearance with Love Made Me Do It, new at 32, four positions ahead of Bad Liar, Imagine Dragons’ latest track (36), and Pinkfong’s Baby Shark, which snaps to a new personal best (39). Finally, following the release of its official music video last week, Ariana Grande’s Breathin’ returns to the Top 50 at 45.
