Quentin Tarantino will be seeing stars - Rocky spin-off Creed looks to haymaker his latest movie from the Official Video Chart Number 1.
The Rocky sequel starring Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone has shifted 36,000 copies at the midweek stage, and is outselling last week's Number 1 The Hateful Eight (2) by two copies to one.
Another new Video Chart Update new entry is Academy Award-winning The Danish Girl. Starring Eddie Redmayne, it could open at Number 3, should it keep the momentum it has built up so far. Star Wars: The Force Awakens drops two places to Number 4 and last week's Number 3 Daddy's Home falls to Number 5.
New entries and high climbers
John Travolta's I Am Wrath opens at 6, with Alice in Wonderland climbing 14 places to Number 11 in anticipation for the sequel's cinema release on May 27. Eddie Redmayne fans purchasing The Danish Girl also seem to be picking up his film The Theory of Everything, which rockets 8 places to 19.
Last of the Summer Wine - Series 29 & 30 is a new entry at 20 and Battle for Sevastopol is a newbie at 23. Sandwiched between those is X-Men - The Cerebro Collection, up 8 places to 21.
Finally, Netflix's Orange is the New Black - Season 3 kicks off at 26 and Oscar Isaac film Mojave starts at 31.
