Post Malone scores second Number 1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart with Hollywood’s Bleeding

Melanie Martinez, Aitch and Black Star Riders claim new Top 50 entries.

Post Malone has picked up his second Number 1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart.

The New York rapper’s third studio album Hollywood’s Bleeding outperformed its nearest competition – Taylor Swift’s Lover – by nearly 3:1 to finish the week as the most digitally downloaded and streamed album.

American singer/songwriter Melanie Martinez claims her first Top 10 album at Number 7 with K-12, while Jax Jones lifts into the Top 10 for the first time with Snacks following the release of its Supersize edition, up six to Number 10.

Manchester rapper Aitch’s new EP AitcH2O makes a splash at Number 18, while fellow up-and-comer Tones & I makes strides with her EP The Kids Are Coming, up ten to Number 40.

Finally, rock group Black Star Riders rev their way to Number 49 with fourth album Another State of Grace, their second time in the Top 50.
