US singer/songwriter Meghan Trainor has notched up a third week at the Official Singles Chart Number 1 spot with her debut single All About That Bass.

The track has now become the longest-running Number 1 of 2014 so far by a female lead artist and the second-longest running Number 1 of the year altogether, following Clean Bandit’s Rather Be FT Jess Glynne, which spent four weeks at the summit at the beginning of the year.

All About That Bass has also notched up a combined chart sales figure of over 100,000 copies for each of the last three weeks and, with just over 14% of this week’s 109,000 tally being attributed to audio streams, has also become the most streamed track of the week.

Six other tracks have been streamed over a million times this week; Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off (1.4m), Calvin HarrisBlame FT John Newman (1.2m), Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s Bang Bang (1.1m), Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud (1.1m), Lilly Wood & Robin Schulz’s Prayer In C (1m) and Sam Smith’s I’m Not The Only One (1m).

Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off climbs two places to Number 2 following the singer’s performance on The X Factor last weekend, while One Direction score this week’s highest new entry with new single Steal My Girl (Number 3). The track is the first to be taken from the group’s upcoming fourth studio album, Four.

After the release of its official video this week, Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud scores its highest chart position to date at Number 4, followed by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s Bang Bang, down three places to 5.
