Plenty of music stars have been encouraging people, with particular attention to the under 25s, to register - including a huge campaign by founders of grime label Boy Better Know. JME and Skepta are are urging fans to sign up and vote on their Grime4Corbyn website - no prizes for guessing who they're backing.

There's also a drive by Rize Up to get everyone signing up to vote, backed by Professor Green and Maverick Sabre.

Lily Allen is one of those urging young people to vote, highlighting the statistic that 57% of 18-24 year olds didn't vote in the 2015 general election.

Meanwhile, soul/blues singer Rag'n'Bone Man has thrown his support behind Labour via the medium of fancy clothing attire:

UK sweethearts, are you all registered to vote? If not, link is in our bio. It takes 2 minutes and it's really important that we all contribute to this decision and don't let other people do it for us: bad politicians are elected by good people who don't bother to vote!! Let's also all read the exciting yet responsible manifesto released yesterday by the Labour Party, which promises a fairer Britain, run for the many not the few. (See a condensed version on our twitter page). This isn't a second Brexit referendum. It's a General Election. That means 650 MPs making and scrapping laws for the next 4-5 years. And voting on poverty. The environment. Welfare reform. Democracy. Tax. Austerity. Education. War. Immigration. Aid. Energy. Transport. Public services. If anyone wants to discuss, please DM us xx #useyourvoice #registertovote #votelabour
