Jumanji is set to rule the Official Video Chart jungle for a second week.
Full title Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, the action comedy starring Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart raced to the top spot on last Sunday's DVD chart with strong sales of 203,000, making it the fifth fastest-selling release of 2018 so far.
Now, with sales of 33,000 accumulated over the last three days, the sequel to the 1995 movie starring Robin Williams looks likely to hold onto the Number 1 slot for a second week.
New entries and high climbers
Following the huge response to The Avengers: Infinity War's cinematic release, a series of Marvel superhero DVDs & Blu-rays are spiking in sales this week. Thor: Ragnarok (4), Doctor Strange (5), and Guardians of the Galaxy (6) all rise one place, while SpiderMan: Homecoming rises four placings to Number 7.
Singularity starring John Cusack is poised to debut as this week's highest new entry at Number 11, while more new releases such as western The Ballad of Lefty Brown and Acts of Vengeance featuring Antonio Banderas look to chart at Numbers 13 and 14 respectively.
Finally, three more new releases could impact the Top 40: Doctor Who: The Complete Third Series (23); Benidorm: The Complete Series 10 (29); and Thousand Yard Stare (30).
