Jack Garratt and Vanessa White are among this week's new music releases

One of this week's big music releases is Jack Garratt's debut album Phase. The Buckinghamshire-born singer and multi-instrumentalist was named the BBC's Sound of 2016 earlier this year, as well as bagging the BRITs Critics' Choice prize. Will the resulting album live up to the hype and top Friday's Official Chart?

Elsewhere, Aussie rock band Wolfmother put out their fourth album Victorious, Taking One For The Team by French-Candian punk group Simple Plan is out, and singer-songwriter Josef Salvat releases his debut collection Night Swim.

Meanwhile, Karen Harding releases the follow up to her Top 10 debut Say Something, called Open My Eyes, and Saturdays star Vanessa White releases her debut EP Chapter One.

Other tracks out today include Birdy's Beautiful Lies and FKA Twigs' latest song Good To Love.

Tove Lo also releases Scars this week, which is taken from the latest Divergent film soundtrack, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' latest song Kevin, which features soul singer Leon Bridges, is out.  

Big DVD/Blu-rays out this week include the latest James Bond film Spectre, A Walk In The Woods starring Robert Redford, and The Sound Of Music Live which recently aired on ITV1.
