It’s a third week at Number 1 for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which continues its reign on digital download sales only.

The Marvel Studios sequel bravely holds off competition this week from the DC Universe in the form of our highest new entry of the week, The Flash (2), which makes its debut also on only digital downloads.

Former Number 1 The Super Mario Bros. Movie holds strong at Number 3, finishing just ahead of Evil Dead Rise which staggers up six places in its second week, to a new peak of Number 4. Star-studded adventure Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves drops three places to Number 5.

Comedy-horror Renfield flies back into the Top 10 to Number 6 this week following its release on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD, earning the title of the UK’s biggest film of the week on disc.

Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 this week are four more previous Number 1s; John Wick: Chapter 4 (7), Avatar: The Way of Water (8), Fast X (9) and Top Gun: Maverick (10), all of which fall two places.

In the wider Top 20 are several new and re-entries. Brand new in the chart are Bruce Lee UHD boxset, Bruce Lee at Golden Harvest (11), Rachel McAdams Family Dramedy Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret (15), and 1978 classic Jaws 2 (17) which enjoys a special edition 4K release. Re-entries come from two modern classics directed by Christopher Nolan, following the release of Oppenheimer in cinemas; Interstellar (12) and Inception (18).
