Slim Shady's not ready to shrink into the shadows just yet – the controversial rapper lands another week atop the Official Irish Albums Chart with Kamikaze.

His eighth chart-topping album in Ireland, Kamikaze was a surprise release and sparked worldwide debate over its lyrical content. So far Kamikaze has spawned two Top 10 singles for Eminem: The Ringer and Lucky You.

Highest new entry this week is legendary Paul McCartney, with his 18th solo album Egypt Station going straight in at 7, while at Number 10, following the release of his new EP, Wicklow singer-songwriter Hozier leaps 16 slots with his self-titled debut, which topped the albums chart five times across 2014 and 2015.

Limerick band The Cranberries were back in the news this week following the inquest into the death of lead singer Dolores O'Riordan, and their retrospective Dreams – The Collection lifts 7 places to 16, while Mac Miller's fifth studio album Swimming reaches a new peak of 14 following the rapper's passing last week. Swimming previously peaked at Number 39.
