Coldplay, Green Day and Bon Jovi for new Avicii album

Chris Martin, Billie Joe Armstrong and Jon Bon Jovi set to appear on Swedish producer’s upcoming second album.

24 year-old EDM producer Avicii has revealed that his second studio album will include collaborations with some of music’s most famous faces.

In an interview with Rolling Stone the producer, whose real name is Tim Bergling, explained that his new album is "going to be a lot more song-orientated".

Follow up to 2013 Official Albums Chart debut True, the new LP will also feature the likes of Wyclef Jean, Matisyahu and System Of A Down's Serj Tankian.

Avicii has scored eight Official Singles Chart Top 40 hits with 2013’s I Could Be The One with Nicky Romero and Wake Me Up (which features uncredited vocals from Aloe Blacc) hitting the Number 1 spot.

Wake Me Up is also one of the UK's biggest selling singles of all-time, breaking the one million sales barrier back in October 2013.
