Batman v Superman to rule Official Video Chart for second week

They've got stiff competition from Eddie the Eagle.

Batman and Superman are formidable foes for each other, and the rest of the Official Video Chart it seems.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice looks to be at the Official Video Chart Number 1 for a second week according to today's update. The film has shifted 36,000 at the midweek stage and is 6,000 copies ahead of a new entry at Number 2, Eddie the Eagle starring Hugh Jackman.

The Top 5 is completed by former Number 1 Zootropolis at Number 3, Batman - The Killing Joke at 4 which is up a whopping 73 places, and London Has Fallen, a chart topper just last month.

New entries and high climbers

Kirsten Dunst supernatural drama Midnight Special should debut in the Top 10 at Number 6 this week, the second and final new entry expected in the video chart's top flight. Salma Hayek's Tale of Tales is a newbie at 15, followed closely by Irish musical comedy-drama Sing Street.

Animated short Frozen Fever rises 15 places to Number 21 and finally, Hotel Transylvania 2 returns to the Top 40, up 16 spots to 39.
