He’s done it again – Wake Me Up spends another week as UK’s most listened to track.

Avicii’s Wake Me Up shows no sign of losing its appeal as it rides high at the top of the Official Streaming Chart this week. The Swedish DJ and producer has now spent five weeks at the summit.

The Official Streaming Chart was launched in May 2012, and is the first chart to rank audio streams from both ad-funded and subscription streaming services in the UK (including Spotify, Deezer, Napster, and Blink Box Music among others).

Wake Me Up is no stranger to the Number 1 spot – it spent three weeks atop the Official Singles Chart in July and has sold a whopping 777,000 copies since its release.

Avicii’s five weeks at the top of the Official Streaming Chart means he’s matched Robin Thicke, TI & Pharrell’s reign with Blurred Lines, but he still has some catching up to do with Daft Punk’s Get Lucky and Pompeii by Bastille – they each spent seven weeks at Number 1.

Robin & co are still at Number 2 this week, while Miley Cyrus holds steady at Number 3 with We Can’t Stop. Ellie Goulding zooms 13 places to Number 4 with Burn, which is also sitting pretty at the top of the Official Singles Chart for a second week. Former chart-toppers Daft Punk fall a place with Get Lucky.

New Entries and High Climbers

The Wanted’s We Own The Night debuts in the Official Streaming Chart this week at Number 68. Close behind it is Klangkarussell FT Will Heard with Sonnentanz (Sun Don't Shine) at Number 71. Other new entries are: Ray Foxx FT Rachel K Collier with Boom Boom (Heartbeat) (75), One Republic and Counting Stars (92) and Home, from Edward Sharpe & Magnetic Zeros (100).

Lady Gaga leaps 23 places with her new single Applause, landing at Number 16 this week. Arctic Monkeys also enjoy a surge, taking Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High to Number 22, a climb of 25 places. Also making a major gain this week is Drake FT Majid Jordan with Hold On We're Going Home (36).
