Ariana Grande has all but confirmed that her next album will be released on February 8.

During a short Twitter Q&A on January 21, the Floridian answered fan questions about her upcoming album thank u, next, and confirmed that the album will be available to pre-order this Friday (January 25). Ariana also said the cover art and tracklist would be released then too, but she's treated us and shared both of those early.

Answering a fan's query over whether the record will get a February release date, she strongly hinted that would be the case - it was then followed by a response to Twitter user perfectsariana, who asked whether it would be Friday February 8 as that is their 21st birthday, with Ari responding "how convenient".

Finally, Ariana tweeted: "two albums in six months huh. that’s deep. love u. talk sooon." Her last album, Sweetener, was released in August 2018 and went straight to Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart. Unlike on Sweetener, Ariana has confirmed there will be no guest features on thank u, next.

Ariana's final single before the album drops, 7 Rings, is already charging towards Number 1 on the Official Chart in its debut week of release - clocking up 5.78 million audio and video streams in its first three days.
