Adele’s Hello heading for a second week atop Official Singles Chart

Plus new entries Ariana Grande, Lost Frequencies feat Janieck Devy, more.

It looks like Adele’s Hello won’t be saying goodbye to the Number 1 spot any time soon.

Last week, the singer-songwriter’s record-breaking comeback became the biggest UK chart-topper in three years, as well as setting a new one-week streaming record, racking up over 7.32m listens in its first week available.

Storming towards its second week at the Official Singles Chart summit, Hello is currently 45,000 combined chart sales ahead of its nearest competitor, Justin Bieber’s Sorry (2).

Elsewhere, Sam Smith’s Bond theme song Writing’s On The Wall climbs one place to 3 today, followed by KDA’s Turn The Music Louder (Rumble) feat. Tinie Tempah & Katy B, up two places to 4 and The Weeknd’s The Hills, which holds firm at 5.

New entries

Ariana Grande is on course to score her fourth UK Top 20 this week with Focus (6), trailed by Belgian DJ and producer Lost Frequencies, who’s heading for a second with Reality feat. Janieck Devy (16).

Lethal Bizzle & Stormzy’s new collaboration Dude starts at Number 25 this week, while US newcomer Pia Mia’s Touch lands at 30.

Finally, following this weekend’s Halloween celebrations, Michael Jackson’s Thriller climbs 149 places to re-enter the Official Singles Chart Update Top 40 at Number 35.

Oh great. Is that overrated moron Ariana Grande REALLY gonna hit number 6? Is there even a video yet?! I've never heard the song at all but I guess that's a good thing.
