Adele’s 25 looks set to take back the top spot on this week’s Official Albums Chart.

With plenty of love in the air over the weekend thanks to Valentine’s Day, the singer’s third album now leads the way on today’s Update, five weeks after it last appeared at Number 1 following a seven-week run at the top.

Also eyeing a place at the top this week is Ronan Keating, who lands at Number 2 with his tenth solo album Time Of My Life and is just 4,000 combined sales behind Adele.

New entries and high climbers

Following their performance of current single Secret Love Song on the Graham Norton show last Friday, Little Mix’s Get Weird album is on track to re-enter the Top 10, up seven spots to Number 8 today.

US singer-songwriter Lissie is on track for her third Top 20 album this Friday as her latest collection My Wild West starts at Number 12, and Kula Shaker’s comeback album K 2.0 lands at 26.

Further down, two albums could be re-entering this week’s Top 40; Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black is up five places to 36, and Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours vaults 23 spots to Number 38.

Why is Elvis not mentioned as a midweek high climber up 7 places to no.11. He's doing it nearly 40 years after his death and with no promotion!

I fully agree. however, Elvis is THE KING anyway and his statistics speak for themselves. He is the UK's Most Successful Charting Act ever.

Elvis has also jumped up 84 places to no.31 on the download chart in a week so hopefully looking good to re-enter the top 10 👍

LOL. And don't forget: The songwriter who makes videos so crazy, weird and freaky they could make Miley Cyrus jealous.
