Adele confirms new album 25 release date

The singer confirms the title and release date of her third studio album.

Adele has officially confirmed the title and release date of her new album.

After months of speculation, the singer revealed the title of her third album as 25, which will be released on November 20 via XL Recordings.

Adele recently opened up about the collection, posting a letter on Twitter that described being 25 as a "turning point... teetering on the edge of being an old adolescent and a fully fledged adult". Click here to read the full letter.

25 follows 2011's 21, which became an instant classic, selling over 4.5 million copies in the UK and becoming one of the best selling albums of all time.

Last Sunday evening (October 18) the superstar previewed the album's lead single Hello on TV across the world. The song will be released on October 23.
