Good to see Benson Boone back with hopefully his biggest hit yet

My thoughts about, erm, the chart. In the middle of the week. What else would it be.

  • Noah Kahan isn't JUST No.1, he's No.3 as well. WOW. Definitely not Sam Fender's fault ;).
  • Ariana's probably peaked I reckon.
  • No one asked for Benson Boone to return. Except for Benson Boone.
  • Another Natasha Bedingfield appreciation post.
  • Get ready to spend the next few months avoiding Capital at all costs, 'cos Ella Henderson's back.
  • And Becky Hill as well. With a song that clearly hasn't taken advantage of Disconnect being GOOD. Seriously, you had one job, Becky. ONE.
  • I completely forgot David Kushner was following up Daylight.
  • I'd rather chew electric cables than hear Kygo massacre Shakira's Whenever Wherever.
  • OK. Take back everything I said about The Last Dinner Party last Monday.
  • Can we not hear more dance noodlings from Bebe Rexha? It would make our lives a whole lot better. Trust me.

Oh, and Mumford & Sons have collaborated with Pharrell Williams. That is all.

Good to see 'Never Be Alone' comfortably in the Top 40 despite fairly low Spotify numbers.

Hopefully 'Whatever' can make it into the region by Friday too, even if I definitely prefer the original classic from Shakira that it interpolates!
