Official Singles Chart Update on 10/8/2020

i wonder how forgettable this one will be. they’re making the same song at this point imo.

The highest they've got is a 5/10 & the lowest they've got is a 2/10, so yeah, it'll likely be forgettable no matter what, haha! :P

hey piran, i agree on the first point. if head and heart is to lose to any of the number 1 contenders, i’d love it to lose it to lighter. if that was my song, i’d be supporting nathan dawe & ksi! :D

mood swings is doing quite well on tiktok so it could be yet another tiktok smash this year, so i’m not ruling out a top 10 peak yet!

Ideally, 'Head & Heart' will stay at #1 for as long as possible, but it would be interesting to see KSI finally top the singles chart given his insane virality (providing we don't get those toxic fans who were nasty to The 1075 & their fans back on!).

'Mood Swings' is likely to go Top 10 by Friday, since the chart updates always seem to place TikTok songs lower down than they are in the final chart, which is probably due to streaming.

I really hope 'My Future' can rebound. I was expecting to be down around the 20's, but not as low as #36! :/

I think Lighter should be the song to knock H&H off no 1. If Savage Noise goes on ACR, its got the chance! And don't we all want it too? Also, how come there's an 8-place drop for WHATS POPPIN. Okay, ACR or a drop I can understand, but there doesn't seem to be a reason. and that has really upset me for some reason.

Also, I expected My Future to stay a little longer... i thought it was on ACR until i realised it only had 1 week! still, D-Block tend to have a drop that big down the top 100... speaking of which, We Won top 40! yey!

other things - Dinner Guest & Party ACR! Dinner Guest stayed top 10 for all but 1 week so well done! Party Girl's awesome and should've been top 10 but I'm skipping it all the time on my playlist so...

also looks like Stunnin' is in the danger-zone of dropping out. We don't talk about the song as it's not top 40 but it is addictive!

No, 'My Future' just fell a lot this week unfortunately, but 'Dinner Guest' & 'Party Girl' are both on ACR now.

I'm happy to see 'Juliet & Romeo' get a second wind thanks to Radio 1 playing it a lot, but I don't think that alone will be enough to get into the Top 40 sadly!

I do think 'Take You Dancing' will hit the Top 40 to be honest, especially considering 'Savage Love' has now peaked & Jason Derulo is clearly still very relevant in the UK, haha.

i don’t mind, the songs grown on me a fair bit since i first heard it. :)
