That Elvis Presley, who was last seen leaving a recording studio on March 12 of 1975, should overtake 21 year Justin Bieber in the #2 position of this week's Official Album Chart in the UK, after topping it for two consecutive weeks less than a fortnight ago, is a testament to the exquisite arrangements of the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra, which backed Presley's vocalizing in 14 of his greatest performances. The "If I can dream" CD, like Adele's "25" should be on everyone's music library.

The "If If Can Dream" album from Elvis Presley is great! First week #1, Second week #1, Third week #3 and week 4... #2 probably... and sales are still very good!!! I think this album goes platinum this week for sales of more than 300.000 copies in just 4 weeks! Indeed, it should be on everyone's music library and it's a very nice Christmas gift ofcourse...

I am visiting the UK MIx page as I am writing this message and they have yet to post the Thrusday update for the Albums. I am hoping for two things, first that Oasis 7 day record tally is NOT broken and that we land at #2. All the best to you!

She's released 8 albums in total 7 of which have charted in the UK. Not many UK hit singles out of 22, but a lot of her stuff is popular. Fast Car, Talkin' Bout a Revolution, Baby Can I Hold You (best known here from when Boyzone took it to number 1), Give Me One Reason and Crossroads are also well known here. She has released a best of in the past which was certified platinum in the UK reaching #3.
