Goldfrapp have unveiled a brand new track today (Jan 23), called Anymore.

The release, which was premiered on Lauren Laverne's BBC 6 Music show, marks the first new material from the London electronic duo in four years.

Singer Alison Goldfrapp offered up a preview of the track and its visuals on Twitter with the lyric: "I can't wait anymore".

It's been a while since we last heard from Goldfrapp; their last album Tales Of Us was released in 2013, peaking at Number 4 on the Official Albums Chart.

Anymore heads up the band's seventh studio album Silver Eye, which is out on March 31 via Mute. Check out Goldfrapp's complete Official UK Chart history here, including 11 Top 40 singles.

“We’ve never liked repeating ourselves," Alison said of the record. "Often we react to things we’ve just done. We like the spontaneity of not knowing. It’s only through the process that we start to figure out what it is. The fans who have stuck with us are the ones who embrace that idea and are excited by the thought that they don’t know quite what to expect next."

Will Gregory added: "I think writing an album is like being lost in a wood. You’re trying to figure out an interesting path. You don’t know whether it’s going to be a dead end or somewhere interesting and you never know when to stop because around the corner some beautiful vista might open up."
