The battle with The Whitewalkers may be a tough one for the characters in Game of Thrones, but the DVD of Season 7 is breezing its way to the top of the UK’s Official Video Chart.

Today’s Chart Update, ranking midweek sales of DVDs and Blu-rays, see the fantasy series dominating the competition, outselling the Top 5 combined in a busy week for gift buying in the run-up to Christmas.

Starring Emelia Clarke, Kit Harington and Gwendoline Christie, GoT Season 7 has shifted 123,000 copies in just seven days, and will join the third, fourth and fifth seasons as chart toppers should it hold onto its momentum by Sunday’s final chart. Elsewhere, a boxset of all seven seasons is currently at Number 21.
