The Official Top 40 biggest selling DVDs/Blu-rays of 2017 so far

With so many huge titles released already this year, Official Charts reveals the biggest DVD/Blu-rays so far in 2017.

In a galaxy not so far, far away... Rogue One: A Star Wars Story lands at Number 1 in the Official Top 40 DVD and Blu-ray releases of 2017 so far.

A whopping 1,050,000 of you have picked up a copy of the Star Wars universe's first standalone feature in these first nine months of the year, over 100,000 more than its nearest rival.

New to the year-long countdown and in the runner-up slot is Disney's live-action re-imagining of Beauty and the Beast which, since its release in July, has shifted 919,000 copies.

The third place title of 2017 so far goes to another successful spin-off. Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find them, the latest story from the Harry Potter franchise, has notched up 917,000 sales on DVD or Blu-ray in the first three quarters of the year.

Bridget Jones's Baby, the best-seller from the first quarter of the year is at 4 with 809,000, and children's favourite Moana (Disney) is at 5 with sales of 713,000.

After just four weeks on sale, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is already the eighth best selling DVD/Blu-ray of 2017, with 479,000 copies sold.

Also impacting the Top 10 are Trolls (6), Sing (7), Marvel's Doctor Strange (9), and the BAFTA nominated The Girl On The Train (10).
