Noah Kahan’s Stick Season stays ahead for seventh week at Number 1

Noah is storming ahead of the competition midweek, as Teddy Swims and Benson Boone continue to rise.
NOAH KAHAN FIRST LOOK WEEK 7

Noah Kahan pulls ahead for a seventh consecutive week at Number 1 with Stick Season at the mid-week mark, nearly 2:1 ahead of his nearest competition.

That competition? Teddy Swims, who is looking to rise to a new peak of Number 2 on Friday with his breakthrough single, Lose Control.

Taken from Teddy's debut album I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part One), you can read more about the making of the song in the Official Chat with Teddy Swims here.

Benson Boone is also making upward moves; Beautiful Things aims to manoeuvre up to Number 4. The rousing rock ballad has become the breakout hit for the Washington native, marking him as a true one to watch. The only thing left to wonder is how far Beautiful Things can really fly in the UK. Could we be looking at a future Number 1?

Plus, two exciting new songs that sample two very different, but equally brilliant, classics are set to jump high this week.

Ella Henderson & Rudimental’s Alibi is flying towards a new peak – predicted to sail to Number 11, with a Top 10 entry within reaching distance. For the collaboration, Ella and Rudimental sample Coolio's 1995 hit Ganagsta's Paradise, a UK Number 1 hit.

Kygo & Ava Max’s Shakira-sampling banger Whatever (18) is set to enter the Top 20 for the first time, jumping ten places after 48 hours.

Despite all the deadwood, I can’t help noticing that Jack Harlow is conspicuously absent!

what an absolutely mouth watering list of stagnancy. up one, down one, non mover, that alibi garbage becoming a hit. oh, and that girl at number 7 can’t sing! 2024 for the pop charts, everyone!

It would be cool to see teddy get his first number 1 next week because it's just new talent taking the top spot and I'm not mad at that. And how about Benson Boone as a potential number 1 contender? Both Noah and Sophie will be on acr next week so it's good to have some new movement at the top

Looks like another fairly dead week! 😩

I really think ‘Stick Season’ will be the biggest song of the year.

It is only the start of the year, who knows something big will overtake it. Plus this will be Noah Kahan's last week at number 1 as it is on acr next week.

it has the advantage of becoming a hit early in the year so i’m certain it will?
