Be careful Elton, the last time Whitney/Kygo were supposed to be #1 with Higher Love and Ed Sheeran strategically released a last minute remix to boost his own single and block it. He might do the same again.

Love that Elton & Dua are still at #1 in this update, hope they hold till friday! I also love that love nwantiti and Heat Waves are staying stable, the latter being one of my favourite songs atm and the former really has grown on me! Elsewhere, shame that Dermot dropped 3 since yesterday's update, hope he can get another top 20 on friday! Love tonight going top 20 is really cool to see and I love MANESKIN's new track MAMMAMIA. I hope it can go top 40 soon! I'm also loving the adele re-entries ahead of her new single on friday, I hope Elton & Dua do it cos this week is their last chance before Adele's return! Also I reckon Jesy won't chart in the top 5 on friday, seeing as its already dropped since yesterday!

Spit Of You, Sam Fender at No41 on Midweek Chart?
Really do hope it makes The Top 40, it's brilliant and he is heading for the No1 spot in The Album Charts?
Come on Radio Stations play Spit Of You instead of playing what you like?

Nice to see 'My Universe' a lot more stable. :)

I know it got pushed out at the last minute in this week's chart, but I'm very confident about 'Tell Me Something Good' finally going Top 40 in the upcoming chart. :)

'Cold Heart' still at #1 in the full update! :O

Let's hope it can hold on for the next four days.

me too! I hope Dua can get herself another #1, and Elton too!

It would become Elton’s first #1 since 2005 apparently! :O

I’m still shocked that Dua never managed to get there with any of the ‘Future Nostalgia’ singles.

IKR! I thought that at least Don't Start Now would do it. I know both DSN and Physical got to #1 on the BT40 so I was really confused when I saw people saying she hadn't gone to #1 as I hadn't realised there were 2 different chart shows! Now I listen to them both but I feel the OCC one seems to be more accurate.

I listen to both charts since BT40 generally has better songs in it, but OCC is more accurate & recognised around the world! :P

C

Conor

yeah I also listen to both but BT40 drags on for so long. At least all the songs get a chance to get played though, I've noticed that OCC play the same songs every week (Bad day, Drive, Take My Breath, Meet Me At Our Spot, Wasted etc.)

Yeah, but the Radio 1 show also used to be three hours long, since they played the entire Top 40 before July 2015! :P

C

Conor

oh really! I didn't start following charts (BT40) since July 2017 and only started listening and following OCC in March 2021!

Yeah, I’ve been following the former since 2012 & the latter since 2013. :)
