13Million views on You Tube in 10days and ABBA are only at No6 and No8, they should be No1.

Drake " girls "..... This song should just be banned from the charts however many it sells or is downloaded. As far as I'm aware the word n***a isn't even supposed to be used nowadays yet he repeatedly uses it. Also the sexual references do not belong in music. It is totally disgusting.
Is this really what music ( ??? ) has come to now.

It's not what music has come to, it's just drake. Drake has always been this bad and there is always going to be a mainstream artist who makes bad music no matter how far back you go

Most rappers use that word nowadays unfortunately

Black magic on ACR? It feels like yesterday it entered the top 10 :( Also happy to see something other than bad habits at #1, even if it’s not the best

i want literally ANYTHING to be number 1 that isn’t ed or the kid laroi. even if it’s something sh** like tones and i, all i ask is for just one. week. without. ed. , i’ll be buzzing if drake goes number 1 even tho i wasn’t a big fan of certified lover boy. again, anything but ed.

i like that abba have made a comeback and i really hope the new charli xcx song makes the top 40 by the end of the week. the highlight for me though, is heat waves hitting a new peak. i adore that song. it that 2055 is falling though...

To be honest I’m a bit disappointed that ABBA aren’t number 1 and 2. That would have really topped off the comeback.

Probably a bit of a stretch given the older demographic.. will likely be the 1 & 2 with actual paid for music. The 80,000 pre-sales of the album to date suggest a no1 with a very large first week sale in the offing. As for the singles I'd be happy of omne stays top 10 and both stay in the top 20 by the end of the week.

Three of my favourite songs at the moment have popped up here - Talamanca (93) I Don't Want You (74) and Tell Me something Good (88) - I'm really hoping these continue to rise in the charts! Also, fantastic to see that Elton John & Dua Lipa are just outside the Top 10!

So happy about ‘I Don’t Want You’ debuting already, I love it. Shame to see bed falling so hard but it was inevitable, also unfortunately black magic on ACR, but again was inevitable and at least it went top 3. Still happy with Life Goes On having another chart life, even if it won’t go top 40.

'Talamanca' new at #93, 'Acapulco' new at #99, have we gone back to the trend of naming hits after popular tourist locations? :P

Potential number 1 for Drake. Yeah

Also ABBA are set for two top 10s. Really nice

Glad to see that ABBA & Elton didn't fall too much from yesterday's First Look. :)

mate, they’re legends. they deserve all the success to this day. so refreshing to have them back in the charts.

I’m so happy to see older artists doing really well in the charts now!

All of my friends love ABBA & a lot of my family are Elton fans! The former are also behind the soundtrack to one of my all-time favourite musicals. :)

Woah, I honestly thought 'Bad Habits' would be lower than that given Drake's streaming numbers! :O

I'd still be very surprised if 'Girls Want Girls' wasn't #1 on Friday though.

Even though it’s a terrible song, I’m glad Drake is coming to end Fad Habits. 😩

avatar

Foxes

4

I dunno at this point, Fair Trade and Champagne Poetry aren't really streaming that much less than Girls Want Girls and Bad Habits has overtaken both of those in the space of a day. At this point I'm thinking Bad Habits' stronger sales, Amazon & YT figures might just end up being enough to keep it at #1. It'll be close either way tho imo

Plot Twist: A million people decide to download ‘Psycho’ tomorrow & it climbs 67 places from where it is in today’s update! :P

If Drake can’t replace Ed from #1 this week, then it’ll be Ed himself next week! :P

Piran

In that case, it’ll overtake as early as tomorrow! :O

I didn’t even know they collaborated! :P

They definitely won’t be #1 though, not with Ed releasing a new single this Friday, sorry.

avatar

Piran

I won’t tell you what I predict to happen next week then! :P

avatar

Piran

For as much as I don’t really want either song to be #1 this week, yes. :/

P

Percy

1

Haha yeah. Their collab leaked like a month ago and it sounds pretty cool!
It's gonna be released on either the 10th or 17th. And it might beat ed who knows. If shivers doesn't beat bad habits then its fair game imo

Piran

If that’s the case, then I think it’s going to have a similar debut week to what ABBA’s new singles have had, in terms of chart performance in the UK. :)
