I wish that 'Shotgun' kept that number one position instead of '3 Lions' and 'In My Feelings' taking over.

I'm certainly getting into both expected Top 10 debuts, so that's very good news for me this week!
Surprised 'Shotgun' is still #1, but I still don't mind the song, so I can't really complain there either. :)

I prefer shotgun over in my feelings

Same, although 'In My Feelings' is one of the better tracks from Drake's new album.

I think Eastside is the only song that challenge really but may take a couple more weeks. Calvin and Sam may gain momentum and jess glynne has produced another catchy tune, it could start gaining momentum pretty quickily. Interesting to see what happens by Friday when the chart comes out.

Possibly. It just took the #1 on the Big Top 40 chart, which is the rival show to the Official Chart & chart that yields the greatest audience among British radio listeners. The only difference is that it includes airplay & doesn't have any additional rules about songs charting like the OCC do.
'All I Am' will probably catch up & go at least Top 5 eventually; look what happened to 'I'll Be There' in the weeks after it debuted! I'm not sure about 'Promises' reaching #1 unless it recovers on streaming soon.

Yeah I def think 'all I am' will climb a bit, it's pure jess glynne, catchy, feel good and great harmonies. I think 'promises' will stand a great chance this and next week, depends how people take to it, it was always going to start with a bang just because of 2 hugely successful artists recording a track together and not out before, depends on how good it is, I've not quite taken to it yet but I know it could grow massively on me but only time will tell

What's incredible is that if 'Promises' does hit #1, it'll be Calvin's tenth chart-topper in the UK!
'All I Am' is essentially 'Hold My Hand: Part 2', so like you said, it's Jess sticking to her original sound, which is what the rest of the country clearly love, myself included! :)

Promises will easily be #1 next week, it's #1 on iTunes and #2 on Spotify currently (where Drake is still at the top), but George is going to take it this week- which I am fine with as both Shotgun and In My Feelings will have ended up with four weeks at the top (IMF achieving that consecutively, of course).

I honestly think Promises is pretty fitting as a final number 1 of the summer, as it's a bit more down-key than One Kiss. It's a pretty decent dance-pop track but I'm enjoying Disclosure's music much more than what Calvin Harris is doing at the moment. They're putting out proper deep house music that make Promises and One Kiss seem like a weak imitation.

All I Am is okay but I want something different from Jess Glynne for once! Something more like Right Here from her first album would be much better, as honestly this and I'll Be There sound almost the exact same, she's playing it a bit too safe. One of the tracks announced for her new album has a feature that hasn't been confirmed yet, but I'm hoping she's made another song with Clean Bandit- which if it is the case, should be the next single released.
