Comes to something when the supposed authority in UK charts can even be bothered to give the full credit of a single (see #16) sadly I've noticed this lazyness is commonplace but the OCC really need to up their game -this is embarrassing, not to mention the charts look like their were created using Microsoft Word 1995...

Drake still has 19 songs in this update but all except Passionfruit are falling, while Ed Sheeran still has all 16 songs from ÷ and have held up relatively well after 5 weeks. Many of the songs that had fallen due to all those album tracks entering the chart are actually recovering positions when they seemed to be headed out.

Same old but at least the gap b/w SOY and GG is shrinking, only 500 copies...

Quite a boring week to be honest, but happy to see 'Waterfall' & 'Swalla' climb into the Top 40.

! Mr. Brightside might return. I'll post a few more comments later on. Everybody have a good day. :)

There a particular problem with Mr Brightside? I suggest that with the tracks from Drake and Ed Sheeran starting to fall down the charts the likelihood of Mr Brightside staying in the Top 100 has probably increased.

You don't know the song by The Killers? It got to #10 in the Hot 100 and was #16 in the 2005 Year-End Hot 100. They're an alternative rock band. I don't think I have heard any other song of theirs. Ring a bell?

ok here's the top 10 for that week:

1. mariah/we belong together
2. gwen stefani/hollaback girl *i remember that when it was #1!*
3. ciara & ludacris/oh
4. 50 cent/just a lil' bit
5. black eyed peas/don't phunk with my heart
6. kelly clarkson/behind these hazel eyes
7. the game & 50 cent/hate it or love it
8. will smith/switch
9. kelly clarkson/since you been gone
10. the killers/mr. brightside

well, during this time i would've been into mariah's emanicipation album. i do remember gwen stefani and kelly clarkson in the top 10 during this time...but i can't recall the killers. was it a big hit?

I didn't particular like Hollaback Girl ... :P Mr. Brightside charted for 38 weeks in the Hot 100, so it had some decent longevity. I think it might have been in a TV commercial.
