X Factor winner Ben Haenow’s Something I Need is going head-to-head with Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk FT Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud, Iron Maiden’s Number Of The Beast and surprise last minute challenger, The Wealdstone Raider’s Got No Fans, in the race to become the Official 2014 Christmas Number 1.

And for the first time ever this year, it’s not just your downloads and CD purchases that matter. What you, the British public have been streaming counts towards the all-important place in chart history now too.

The cut-off point for sales and streams to be counted towards this year’s Official Christmas Chart was midnight last night (December 20).

The Official Christmas Singles Chart Top 40 will be counted down on BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart Show with Jameela Jamil and Scott Mills between 4 and 7pm today (December 21), with the full Top 100 posted right here on www.officialcharts.com at 7pm.
