After coming third in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent, Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan AKA Bars & Melody were snapped up by Simon Cowell’s record label, Syco, for a one-single deal.

The boys' debut single, Hopeful, which is set for release on July 27, samples Twista’s Hope FT Faith Evans and includes verses written by Leondre about his experience being bullied.

The video sees Bars & Melody performing in a school gym, before being joined by a host of dancing school kids.
