The Weeknd has announced his brand new album Starboy, and he's already treated us to the title track.

The Canadian singer revealed news of his upcoming record on Twitter, and later dropped the new single shortly after, which features the legendary Daft Punk.

The new single, also named Starboy, is a moody, mellow offering with the attention-grabbing lyric "I'm a mother f***in' Starboy".

The Weeknd's last album Beauty Behind The Madness became his first Number 1 album in the UK back in 2015 and spawned the Top 3 single Can't Feel My Face. View The Weeknd's complete Official UK singles and albums chart history here.

Starboy is also Daft Punk's first new material in three years since they released their million-selling smash hit Get Lucky and their Number 1 album Random Access Memories.

I love these insightful lyrics..... Think I'd rather eat my own head then listen to this garbage.

'Massive new single?' Can a single REALLY be massive if it is brand-new?
