Olly Murs has been confirmed as the brand new coach coming soon to The Voice UK.

With four Number 1 albums and four Number 1 singles under his belt, Olly knows exactly what it takes to make it big in music, and replaces Gavin Rossdale on the line-up of superstar coaches.

will.i.am is returning once again for his seventh adult season, while Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson are also coming back. Jennifer will have more experience with her this time around following her win last series - she is currently taking part in the US version of the show.

"I'm absolutely buzzing about being a Coach on The Voice UK and can't wait to sit in the big red chair alongside will, Jennifer and Tom, explained Olly in a statement. "I'm excited to mentor new artists and without doubt, I'm in it to WIN!"

Olly is the fourth man to sit in the far right coaching seat on the show, following tenures from The Script's Danny O'Donoghue, Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, and Bush lead vocalist Gavin Rossdale. Olly will be happy to know that his spinning chair is the luckiest on the show, with Danny and Ricky mentoring three winners between them.

Much like former American Idol contestant Jennifer, Olly knows all about making his way into the music industry via a TV talent show. Olly was the runner-up on the 2009 series of The X Factor, and then had a very notable stint as the show's host in 2015.

Here before the LGBT anti-vist trashes the comments in every mention of Olly Murs. Don't even watch the show but pretty happy to hear this. Might mean less music from him but ay.
