The Vamps interview: “This album is completely different”

In case you missed it, The Vamps are back in a big way. With their new single Wake Up currently battling for Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart and a run of live Fan Rally Shows before their UK tour next Spring, Brad, Tristan, Connor and James are in for a very busy couple of months.

The group have notched up five Top 10 singles over the past two years, recruiting One Direction, Kelly Clarkson and Jason Derulo songwriter and producer Steve Mac for their latest cut.

We caught up with the group to talk their new single (“it’s got an MGMT vibe”), upcoming second studio album (“It’s 99.2% finished”) and starting their own record label (“Brad’s the Simon Cowell”).

The Vamps' album Wake Up is out on November 27.
