The Vaccines may have lost out on their second chart-topper on the Official Albums Chart to Will Young, but the band still have plenty of cause for celebration this week.

The group’s third LP English Graffiti enters straight in at Number 1 on this week’s Official Vinyl Albums Chart, ahead of Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s third record Multi-Love, which is this week’s second-highest new entry at 2.

English Graffiti also tops this week’s Official Record Store Chart, making them the most-purchased LP in independent music shops over the past week. The album finishes ahead of Young’s 85% Proof, which recently became his fourth Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart.

Elsewhere on this week’s Official Vinyl Albums Chart, punk-rock band The Fall debut at Number 4 with their 31st album Sub-Lingual Tablet, Ryan Adams’ debut album Heartbreaker - originally released in 2000 - is new at Number 5, and Irish rockers Ash land at 7 with their sixth LP Kablammo!
